A long ballot, filled with strong candidates Who has Sid endorsed, again?
AN UNPRECEDENTED ELECTION A WEALTH OF WORTHY CANDIDATES AN ENDORSEMENT OF SHARED VALUES AND GOALS
Equity's 2018 Council election is unprecedented in size and scope, and this year's ballot is filled with extraordinary candidates. Anybody who stands up and is willing to serve their fellow members and their union is worthy of praise and adulation, and I honor all those who have done so.
I have proudly endorsed the following candidates, knowing them to be stage managers and actors with whom I share values and goals. Some are new voices, some are experienced incumbents. Some are from office cities, some are from liaison areas. Some are running as members of slates, some are running independently. They all have my trust, and I urge you to entrust them all with your vote.
As you consider additional candidates to support beyond those listed here, I strongly encourage you to value regional diversity, as our Council has for too long been bereft of voices from outside Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York. If you'd like to discuss any candidates privately, please don't hesitate to reach out.
